Steve has spent 30 years in senior life-sciences, genetics & business development roles. For the last 15 years, he has focused on transformational procurement, strategic sourcing, and post-acquisition integration.
After leaving corporate life, Steve co-founded AWP Associates, a successful associate group of 100 business transformation practitioners with a specialist focus in manufacturing operations, supply chain and IOT based technologies. Steve is the co-founder and managing partner of Chemovateq Swiss AG Limited based in Zurich, which is an investment company specializing in agtech. Chemovateq’s growing portfolio of companies includes Bancella Limited, a growing company headquartered in Mauritius serving Africa Middle East with a focus on providing future proof of high-value ag inputs in AME, including biological solutions and innovative chemical formulations. Also included in the portfolio, AgBioScout, a specialist team of professionals who scout, validate biological solutions in agriculture, and provide a range of services to technology companies, the investment community, and value chain partners. Steve’s former roles have included: Global Head of Strategic Sourcing & Procurement Arysta LiveScience; Head of Global Sourcing and Clinical trial outsourcing Novartis AG; Director Biotech Research Business Development, Sygen PLC. Steve also spent time as a lobbyist for biotechnology during his time in the United States.
