Jose Perdomo

Executive President, CropLife LATAM

As a recognized executive with more than 30 years of experience in the agro-industry, Perdomo became CropLife Latin America Executive President in August 2013.

Previously, Perdomo worked for DuPont for more than 28 years as Vice-President of the Crop Protection Business in Latin America based in Sao Paulo, Brazil. He was also General Manager of DuPont Agro for the Southern Cone based in Buenos Aires, Argentina and served as the North America Director for Corn & Soybeans and U.S. Country Manager based in Des Moines, Iowa.  He was a member of the CropLife Latin America Board of Directors between 2005-2006 and member of the Board of Directors of various Associations that are part of CropLife Latin America like CASAFE in Argentina and ANDEF and SINDAG in Brazil. From 2008-2012, he was the CEO of Pantaleón Sugar Holdings in Guatemala, Regional Leader in Latin America in the production of sugar, energy, and biofuels. He graduated from Texas A&M University’s Agricultural Engineering Department majoring in mechanized agriculture.
